President's Message

NASVH President

Welcome to the NASVH Website! Our hope is that you will find the information available useful and relevant. By partnering with our member Homes and support staff, we strive to keep the site current with up-to-date relevant information. Members should notify us of any changes in a State Veteran's Home information. Should you have any suggestions for improvement, please follow the link on the site and we will make every effort to include your suggestions. The Association takes pride in the website as a timely and beneficial resource.

This year, the Association held the Summer Conference in San Diego, California. The conference was a tremendous success bringing together many members and vendors sharing valuable information to continue with our mission through these challenging times. The California team did a fantastic job of welcoming the membership and providing opportunities to explore the area. Once again, the Educational and Summer Conference Committee members demonstrated their commitment to providing the best in networking and educational opportunities. If you missed this event, you missed a good one!

The Executive Committee continues to work toward improving the Association and the educational offerings at our conferences. The Executive Committee hopes to see all of you at our Mid-Winter Conference in Arlington, Virginia. The date of this event will be held February 5 — February 9, 2023. The link to the hotel for reservations will be available in the Conferences tab. While you are marking your calendar for our mid-winter conference be sure to keep in mind our 2023 Summer Conference. The dates and place of this event will be provided soon. We hope to see you there!

It will be an honor and privilege, for the next year, to serve as President of an organization committed to caring and advocating for America's Heroes. We have such a talented and dedicated group of leaders in our Executive Team, Committee Chairs, Past Presidents, and Regional Directors all ready and willing to assist in our mission. As we move forward together, we will continue to face many challenges for our Homes and the Association. I am confident that, as a team committed to the same shared values, we can conquer even the most difficult tasks.

If there is anything we can do to assist you, please let us know.

Best Regards,

Whitney Bell,

President, National Association of State Veterans Homes
