| ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS |
| A veteran must have served in the United States armed forces for 90 days or more & have been discharged under honorable conditions. In addition, preference shall be granted to New Mexico veterans. Spouses, surviving spouses, and Gold Star parents are also eligible. |
| APPLICATION PROCESS |
| Applications obtained from the facility or Veterans Service Officers are to be submitted to the facility and are reviewed by the facility Admissions Committee. |
| STRUCTURE AND GOVERNING BOARD |
| The New Mexico Veterans Center Board consists of seven members who serve as an advisory group to the Secretary of the New Mexico Department of Health, state operated. |
